“New Generation – New Learning Even with
Covid 19”
It is indeed true that as new generations come, new things also come in our way–in our lives even. When the new decade came in the year 2020, people were so excited and happy. The technology has been number one on the modernization, and it is indeed a big help in learning. But then, as the world crumbled when the pandemic came, a lot of things were affected, and one of this is the Education. It can be a blessing that people are all getting modern now. It is no longer hard to search for information since surfing to the net is an easy job for many. But still, searching for information and learning that information is two different things. A lot mentioned the issue of not being a fast learner and that even if the technology is modern the connection isn’t strong–it gets slow or it’s just slow. And then, not everyone is high-tech. A lot may have gadgets, but not every single one. A lot may have internet, but not all. So if the topic is the new learning in this pandemic, how it is really?
Digital or printed
modular learning is what most students go to. It is a lot better when the
modules are printed since it is easier to use in answering because in digital,
there are issues that are sometimes faced that can make delays in answering our
required tasks. Some also go to online classes, but almost all do experience it
now. They can either see each other then have a class virtually using Google
Meet or Zoom. It is nice that we have these platforms that can serve as our
ways of learning or even teaching for the teachers, but it is sad that not
everyone can go to those because now that’s there is pandemic, some got a lot
busier since their families need them to do their household chores or it is
just the internet that keeps on messing up. I do sometimes feel bad when I
can’t attend a virtual meet, but I do hope that they will reconsider because I
do have my reasons–we all do. And about learning again, going back to the
modules, it is a bit hard answering sometimes. It’s just it is many or the
tasks seems a little heavy to be done. I do finish them all, and I do want to
finish them all then I pass them on time. I just hope the others wouldn’t
struggle too much because it is sad seeing the others too left behind. So if we
can help in the simplest and most possible way, let us help them.
I can say that this is
Quality Education since you can indeed see the efforts of the teachers on
making up these learning materials, and as well with their efforts wanting to
keep things on track that they even learn how to keep up with this
modernization and technology is something that is noble. We can still learn
even little by little, but the fact that even if the New Learning seems to be
hard, everyone is trying to keep it going on. And I am happy and feeling both
blessed and lucky that I have this education for a lot wasn’t given a chance to
continue it, and a lot needed to stop because they can’t have it for a number
of reasons since the Covid-19 pandemic did give a lot of families a hard time.
And I can say that I thankful for the teachers and the parents that worked for
this, and I am proud of the students who keeps on fighting and learning, so
they can feel and have that Quality
Education amidst the Covid 19 pandemic.
Distance learning might be difficult, but let us give it our all and keep going. I hope face-to-face sessions resume soon, and best of luck to you and all of the other students. 😊
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you reading my blog! Thank you for leaving a comment as well. I hope that we will all do great even with this type of learning. I got my fingers crossed that whatever circumstances we face, we will be able to overcome them. Thank you once again, Gwyneth! Stay safe.
DeleteI hope the pandemic will end soon so we can go back to the face to face format of education, but for now we need to adjust and continue studyin.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you reading my blog! Thank you for leaving a comment as well. For now, we should really learn to adjust. Well, everyone is indeed adjusting with the changes, but we can all learn to cope from the hardship and continue the fight. Thank you once again, Rodel! Stay safe.
