“Resilience Starts with Me that I Shall Pass
to You that Will Everyone Do”
Days have been bad that things were starting to fall–slow and steady. Surely, everybody has felt like they have been soaked in heavy rain and that even if they try to no longer drip in that water, it will still take time for them to be dry. It’s probably like crying, it will take time for tears be dry. But then, come to think of it. Why do we even get soaked in heavy rain or just plain rain? Is it because it just suddenly rains and we’re unprepared or is it because we forgot to something that can save us from that situation? See it this way, the rain is our problems and an umbrella is something that we mostly forgot–something that actually can be a symbol of protection that can also be hope. In that umbrella, we might be able to see something bad going on, but as it stops to rain–there might be the sun coming up next or better, a rainbow. Umbrella represents as solution, don’t you think? And with solutions we can always expect for resilience.
The country has been
facing issues the past years, but Covid is the timeliest at this point. Storms
and earthquakes has set things apart, and wars left a huge mark across this
land, but Filipinos will never be known as people who will give up. Yes. There
are indeed solutions, and first will always be having a stronger faith and a
more positive mind. We are already in a crisis and life has been more on
challenges, why lose the faith and smile? Next, let’s us end this political
issues that have been killing this land. Speak up, let your rights be renowned,
and choose the best leaders–if there are none then become one. If you think you
can and you have the heart to serve, why not? Lastly, be a Filipino–not just
someone who has the blood of it, but someone who truly cares about the country.
Kindness matters, and letting kindness rule the country will bring us back to
our great paths. Let us help each other, and we shall see everyone sailing their
boats on the right sea, and no one shall drown once again. It might be hard...
it is hard... but if it is a must, why won’t we do such tasks? Resilience
starts with me that I shall past to you that will everyone do.
Speaking up and
letting your thoughts is already useful. Starting things up with a kind word,
and starting to fix thing up with people who shivered because of the problems
is indeed a good start. Why? Because if they then want to take the same step
with you, what would the county even be if everyone gets on the right foot? It
will always start with people, and I know the fixing will follow for we shall
do the jobs. And that is how I see it. The ways that I think of that can lead
us towards a resilient Philippines.
